Can I prevent my email from being down when I move to Argon?

What you will need to do is create the email accounts in your Control Panel we issue you with the exact same settings as you have with your current host. You settings for your email program (Outlook, Eudora, etc...) will always be:

POP:

domainname.com or mail.domainname.com

SMTP:

domainname.com or mail.domainname.com

username & password = whatever you set them to in the Control Panel.

Please understand that there will still be a propagation period and that we have no control over. DNS servers around the world update and each server is set to update at whatever time their system administrator sets it to. Some only take around 4 hours, others (your DNS server in the basement of some college that hasn't been touched for many years) up to 72+ hours (very rare). Again, we have NO control over DNS propagation, just have patience, your domain will resolve and your site will be up and email working in no time at all.
