How can i transfer my domain to another registrar?
We'd rather not see you go, but if you would like to transfer your domain name from Argon Hosting.com to another Registrar, you will require an authorization code. If you do choose to switch to another Registrar, please be aware that to continue using any Argon Hosting.com value added services (VAS) -- including Hosting, Email, Sitebuilder! and Search Engine Optimization -- you may be required to modify settings in your zone file. * Note: If you are trying to change your existing hosting service provider, you do not need to transfer your domain name registration away from Argon Hosting.com. Generally, web hosting companies will ask that you change your Domain Name System Servers, (DNS Servers). Instructions for changing your DNS Servers can be found in our knowledgebase by clicking here.
You should be aware that each Registrar has a unique process and timetable for transferring Web addresses. Further, a gaining Registrar, in most instances, will require you to confirm your transfer request before it is processed. Please note that transfer of an expired domain names may be subject to restrictions. Accordingly, you should allow sufficient time prior to the expiration date to complete a Transfer of Registrar.
