How do I chmod my files(change permissions) on the server to get my script to work?

CHMOD using an FTP Client (Example: FTP Voyager)

How to CHMOD files/directories using an FTP Clent. This example uses FTP Voyager. Other FTP Clients will have similar functions although the interface may be slightly different.

Step 1: Right-click on the file or directory name. Then click "Properties.

Step 2: On the "Properties" popup check the appropriate checkboxes for the CHMOD value specified in the MKPortal installation instructions. Or you can simply type the value in the "Numeric Value" field. When you are done click "Apply".

Step 3: In FTP Voyager click "Yes" in the confirmation popup. Then click "OK" in the final Properties popup. Repeat this process for all files and directories that must be given write permissions.
